Speaking at the inauguration of the AI Centre of Competency powered by Nvidia at Ramdeobaba University in Nagpur, Fadnavis emphasized that universities must align their curricula with rapidly changing industry demands and focus on creating highly skilled, employable talent rather than simply producing graduates.
Fadnavis stressed that the future workforce will require expertise in emerging technologies that are reshaping industries worldwide. He said educational institutions should anticipate changes in the job market and equip students with practical, cutting-edge skills in AI, semiconductor design, and quantum technologies. According to him, India has a unique opportunity to become a global technology leader if academia, industry, and government collaborate to build a strong innovation ecosystem and develop world-class human capital.
