High-risk systems must go through assessments, maintain technical documentation, and allow human oversight. Meanwhile, Taiwan has chosen a principle-based framework, focusing on ethics, privacy, transparency, fairness, and accountability, while leaving specific enforcement to future sector-based laws.
Overall, the article highlights that Asia is not moving toward a single AI legal model.
