The India AI Impact Summit 2026 — taking place from February 16–20 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi — has drawn one of the most influential gatherings of global technology and artificial intelligence leaders ever assembled. The event is being positioned as the first major global AI summit hosted in the Global South, with participation from CEOs of top tech companies, government officials, and global thought leaders.
Chief executives from major AI and tech firms are confirmed to attend, including Sundar Pichai (CEO of Google and Alphabet), Sam Altman (CEO of OpenAI), Jensen Huang (Founder and CEO of NVIDIA), and Demis Hassabis (Co-founder & CEO of Google DeepMind). Other leading figures expected include Alexandr Wang (Chief AI Officer at Meta) and Dario Amodei (CEO of Anthropic), reflecting the summit’s focus on shaping the future of AI policy, research, safety, and deployment.
Tech visionaries from outside the core AI research community will also participate. Bill Gates (Chair of the Gates Foundation) and Brad Smith (President & Vice Chair of Microsoft) are among the prominent attendees, alongside leaders from companies such as Qualcomm, Cloudflare, and Accenture. In parallel, Indian tech leaders such as Nandan Nilekani (Infosys) and executives from major enterprise firms will add local industry insights to the global dialogue.
The summit’s agenda goes beyond corporate networking — it’s designed to facilitate dialogue on AI governance, inclusive growth, workforce readiness, and real-world deployment of artificial intelligence. With over 35,000 registrations from more than 100 countries, and participation from government ministers and heads of state, the event underscores India’s growing role in the global AI ecosystem.
