Artificial Intelligence Leader and United States Central Command Advisor Charlie Burgoyne Joins XTI Aerospace Corporate Advisory Board

XTI Aerospace has appointed Charlie Burgoyne, a renowned artificial intelligence leader and advisor to the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), to its Corporate Advisory Board. Burgoyne, founder and CEO of AI companies Valkyrie and Andromeda, brings over 15 years of experience in AI and data science across defense and commercial sectors.

With his extensive background in AI, Burgoyne will help XTI Aerospace develop intelligent aircraft systems, enhancing its TriFan 600 xVTOL aircraft and future unmanned systems. XTI aims to leverage Burgoyne's expertise to deepen its ability to design and market aircraft systems that are both vertically agile and algorithmically smart.

The appointment of Burgoyne aligns with XTI's strategic priorities, which include developing U.S.-made VTOL aircraft for air dominance, in line with the June 2025 Presidential Executive Order on Domestic Drone Production. Burgoyne's expertise will be instrumental in helping XTI compete at the intersection of autonomy, aerial mobility, and defense readiness.

Burgoyne's appointment follows recent additions to XTI's advisory board, including Hanna Tomory from Palantir Canada and Preston Dunlap, former Chief Technology Officer of the US Space Force and Air Force. With Burgoyne on board, XTI is well-positioned to drive innovation and growth in the aerospace industry.
