This order follows a successful initial deployment and reflects the customer’s decision to broaden its use of RAD’s autonomous security platforms after validating performance in real operating environments.
The expansion order includes two RIO 360 units and two RIO Mini systems, each accompanied by SARA (Speaking Autonomous Responsive Agent) AI platform licences. The RIO and RIO Mini platforms are autonomous security units designed to deliver continuous monitoring and response capabilities, while SARA provides the agentic AI software intelligence that analyses data and initiates actions autonomously.
According to the company, this broader deployment reflects confidence in RAD’s technology for meeting the challenges of securing large outdoor environments like auction yards, where traditional security can be costly or inconsistent. The customer’s decision to expand its order suggests that autonomous systems are being seen as practical, scalable alternatives to purely human security solutions in demanding physical settings.
AITX also plans to showcase its autonomous security technology at ISC West 2026, one of the largest security industry trade shows, where live demonstrations of RAD’s solutions will be featured.
