The OpenAI-developed large language model (LLM) DALL-E can produce lifelike visuals from text descriptions. It was initially revealed in January 2021 and makes use of a GPT-3 language model that has been altered to produce visuals. DALL-E can produce images of a wide range of objects and settings, including people, animals, landscapes, and objects. It was trained on a vast dataset of text and image pairs. DALL-E has been used for a number of things, including producing instructional materials, designing products, and making art.
