In the energy sector, AI is being used to optimize energy consumption and predict energy demand.
Governments in Latin America are working on regulatory frameworks to ensure AI development aligns with human rights and democratic values. However, the region's digital divide poses a significant challenge to AI adoption, particularly in rural areas and marginalized communities.
