Lightning AI has launched AI Hub, a marketplace offering ready-made enterprise applications to simplify AI adoption. This move aims to solve the "last mile" problem of generative AI deployment, where companies struggle to put AI into productive use.
AI Hub provides a platform for developers and users to find prebuilt AI applications, deployable via no-code APIs. The marketplace hosts over 50 APIs, including popular models like DeepSeek-R1, and allows developers to list their AI models separately.
The platform is designed to eliminate infrastructure setup and coding hassles, making it easier for enterprises to integrate AI into their operations. AI Hub is similar to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, where users can browse and deploy applications without requiring extensive technical expertise.
Existing Lightning AI customers can access AI Hub for free, with 15 monthly credits to run applications. Additional pricing tiers will be available for customers requiring more credits or connections to their cloud environments.
Lightning AI's move into the AI marketplace space is part of a broader trend, with companies like AWS and Hugging Face launching similar marketplaces for prebuilt AI applications.
