Ricardo Baeza-Yates, director of research for Northeastern's Institute for Experiential AI, noted that standards for responsible AI are evolving on a case-by-case basis, with a focus on fairness, transparency, and safety.
The summit also explored the role of AI in promoting economic prosperity, particularly for small businesses. Kerry McLean, executive vice president and general counsel at Intuit, highlighted the potential of AI-powered data analysis tools to help small businesses compete on a larger playing field.
