Nadal emphasized that these videos are misleading advertising and completely unrelated to him. He urged his followers to be cautious, stating, "I have neither made nor endorsed such messages." This warning comes as part of a growing trend of celebrities being targeted by AI deepfake scams.
AI deepfake scams involve creating convincing images, videos, and audio files featuring well-known individuals to deceive and defraud audiences. Scammers use tools like DeepfakeWeb to generate content using real images of celebrities available online, making them victims of impersonation. Several celebrities, including Taylor Swift, Jenna Ortega, and Billie Eilish, have fallen victim to similar AI-generated scams.
