The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Puducherry recently hosted a two-day symposium on "Explainable AI for Medical Signal Analysis," which brought together experts to discuss the applications of artificial intelligence in medical diagnosis. The event focused on enhancing the understanding of AI's role in analyzing medical signals and images to improve healthcare outcomes.
The symposium featured discussions on deep learning and signal processing, machine learning applications, and AI in medical imaging. Experts shared insights on using deep learning techniques for medical signal analysis and machine learning's potential in identifying diagnostic information from medical images and signals.
Dr. Menaka Murugesan, Scientist (F), IGCAR, Kalpakkam, delivered a talk on AI applications in medical diagnosis. Dr. Malaya Kumar Nath, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE, NIT Puducherry, hosted the event. Approximately 93 participants from various institutions attended the symposium.
